Fixing background distractions in video.

I recently shot this interview with Loretta giving at testimonial for a business. The issue I ran into was because of the space, I was forced to have part of my soft-box reflect in frame.

Luckily, I knew that I could remove the reflection in Adobe Photoshop using Generative AI.

This works best if the subject is stationary with enough space between them and the part you want to fix. Then it’s a simple addition of the image layer on top and masking them out.

Generative AI just makes things so much faster and you can also add elements to the background if you wanted to spice things up.

I also cover a quick colourgrade that I do. I keep things pretty simple for my commercial and wedding work, but thought I’d share quickly to give you a basic understanding of how to colour correct and add a grade on top of your image.

Hope you find this useful!
